Short answer

Compare the amount you would actually receive for the same rights under the same closing assumptions. A headline percentage is incomplete without its balance basis, deductions, payment conditions and the scope of the sale.

Put every offer on the same basis

Ask the buyer to identify the amount against which any percentage is applied: a displayed account value, documented asset quantities valued on a specified date, or another expressly defined amount. Two identical percentages can produce different payments when the underlying basis differs.

Separate a preliminary indication from a written offer that has completed its stated review. Note the expiry, unresolved documents and circumstances in which the price can change. This comparison framework is not a market quotation.

Use a side-by-side comparison

Copy the fields below into a comparison and leave unknown entries blank. Obtain an answer rather than filling gaps with assumptions.

Calculate net proceeds without hiding uncertainty

Start with the purchase price and subtract only the costs actually allocated to you. Where a cost or condition is unresolved, show it as unresolved; do not produce a precise net amount from incomplete terms. Confirm the settlement currency separately from any dollar comparison.

Timing matters too. An amount payable after an open-ended condition is different from one due after clearly specified closing steps. Ask what happens if a required approval is delayed or never obtained.

Check that the rights can be sold as described

BitMart’s published agreement contains an assignment restriction in section 9.2. The applicable terms and any required consent need to be assessed for the transaction. A high headline price does not remove that question.

Read the purchase agreement and obtain advice appropriate to the rights and jurisdiction before signing. Do not hand over account credentials as a substitute for a documented transfer.

Related questions

Is the highest percentage always the best offer?

No. Compare the same valuation basis, deductions, rights and settlement conditions before judging the actual proceeds.

Does requesting a quote transfer my rights?

An enquiry to BitMart Return does not transfer rights. A sale requires a separate agreed transaction and its applicable conditions.
